Built in 2004, The Waterview is elegant, sophisticated, and now in our seventh year of operation with a well-established reputation for excellence. Designed and built specifically for the needs of our events, The Waterview stands alone by offering:

• A secluded thirteen acre property located directly on Lake Zoar;
• 44,000 square feet of space, including two levels of event space;
• Stunning Grand Ballroom with marble dance floor, floor to ceiling windows and unobstructed views of Lake Zoar;
• Grand entrance with a marble foyer and domed ceilings; and
• Lakefront patio areas suitable for wedding ceremonies, surrounded by landscaped gardens.

The Waterview regularly receives five star reviews for its service, and the vast majority of our business comes from referrals. The Waterview belongs to the Elegant Banquets family of facilities that have been proudly hosting elegant events since 1986. Our three other Connecticut venues include The Riverview, which opened in 2008, The Candlewood Inn, which opened in 1999, and The Fox Hill Inn, which opened in 1986.
