I can't say enough about Norma. When we first met her, we knew we wanted her to perform our ceremony. She has a genuine kindness and warmth about her. She was sincere and thoughtful. At our second meeting when she went read through our ceremony I was in tears. She captured who we were and wrote an incredibly touching ceremony. Fast foward to our wedding day on October 29, 2011. Yes that was the most unexpected winter storm to hit our area. The snow caused tremendous havoc on the roads. We were fearful that our wedding might get cancelled because we didn't know how anyone would get there. Miraculously Norma arrived ! It was not an easy trip at all; in fact it was quite dangerous. The fact that she attempted to get there, and successfully did so, proves how much she cared. To say that I appreciate her dedication and professionalism is an understatement. And while the power was out at my venue, she performed the most touching ceremony by candlelight;even without a mic. I know it was my wedding, but I think I might have had the most romantic and touching ceremonies of all time. Thank you Norma for making our day so special and putting in so much extra effort.

My husband and I were recently married on August 28, 2010. Our ceremony was performed by Norma of One Heart Ceremonies. I cannot even begin to express how thankful we were to have met Norma. The ceremony that she prepared for us was more than we ever expected. She really personalized the ceremony to suit our needs. As soon as you meet her, you can see that she is such a warm, kind person and as she performs the ceremony your guests see it as well. Before the wedding, I was so nervous and Norma was able to talk me through it and calm me down. I am so appreciative of everything she did for us that special day. Some of the wedding guests even approached me afterward to say how wonderful the ceremony was from beginning to end. She was truly the beginning to a perfect wedding day!

We had Norma from One heart ceremonies for our wedding on 8/7/2010 and I do not think we could have been any more satisfied with her services. Form the minute we spoke to her it was like speaking to our best friend. We planned our wedding from across the country (Oregon to New York)and Norma made it so simple. She took the time to get to know us and provide us with the best service. Her service was so personalized and heart felt that guest at our wedding thought she was a family friend of ours. During the chaos of getting ready she met with both myself and my now husband seperatly and gave us kind loving words that calmed us and helped us tune everything else out and focus on the love around us. My husband as I were married by Norma on Aug. 5th 2010. It was important to us that we have an officiant that really understood exactly what the day meant to us and who we were as people. Norma was just that. She really took the time to get to know both of us individually and was able to create the perfect ceremony for our day. Norma makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet her and she never treats you as if you're just another job. In a way an officiant is one of the most important vendor decisions you can make. It's the person responsible for actually joining you as husband and wife. There are cheaper ways to go, but not if you want someone willing to take the time to make the day 100% about you and your husband to be. I can't imagine having had anyone else up there with us at that special moment.

Mark Giller from One-Heart Ceremonies officiated our wedding in 2009. After filling out lengthy questionnaires about ourselves and the type of wedding service we envisioned, and meeting with Mark in person, both my wife and I felt as if he understood us and was able to craft the ceremony that was right for us.
