Lola's Cafe & Gourmet Caterings

We had the honor of having Chef Eddie Kowalski and Event Planner Annalise Puckette cater our wedding. From the beginning we knew the both of them had everything under control. When it came to the food, Chef Eddie and his staff did an amazing job. Each one of our guests had nothing but high praises when it came to the stations and appetizers. Chef Eddie's eye for detail and culinary expertise certainly came through in the dishes he prepared. As for Lola's event planner, Annalise, she also did an amazing job. From the menu to the table settings to the coordinating of all the other vendors, Annalise handled herself with the utmost of professionalism. We don't know what we would have done without her. She certainly deserves very high praises. The entire team at Lola's did an outstanding job at our wedding. From the bartenders to the servers, they all did a fantastic job. I know for certain that I would definitely recommend Lola's Catering to anyone who's looking to have an event catered. You will definitely not be disappointed.

Right from the initial meeting with Eddie I knew the service and food would be great. He was always available to answer any of my questions and very felixible with all the changes I made to the contract. Every guest at the wedding had nothing but great things to say about the food. I would absolutely recommend Lolas!!! Everything was perfect!

Lola's catered our wedding on 9/24/11. I can not even begin to tell you what an absolutely amazing experience it was to work with Ed & Annalise (his assistant). I'll begin with the food. As the bride I didn't get to eat a whole lot (something I would have planned differently, but we already talked about celebrating our anniversary Crave-Ed's other restaurant.); however, the food was AMAZING. My husband's step-mother who is is one of those people who looks for the flaw in everything, said the halibut was the best fish she has ever had in her life. EVERYONE LOVED THE FOOD! Okay, now, as a bride, I was pretty anxious. Ed & Annalise, eased all my anxieties. I trusted them. They simple did what they said they were going to do. In this day in age that is hard to come by. I can not thank them enough for their responsiveness, flexibility and professionalism. Their efforts really contributed to making my wedding the best day of my life.

Lola's cafe and catering catered our wedding at Locust Grove Estate in Poughkeepsie, NY. The staff made the planning process easy and always had creative serving and menu ideas to offer. Our guests complimented on how delicious the food was (specifically the mushroom ravioli and perfectly cooked beef tenderloin). Overall the experience was fantastic and we would highly recommend Lola's to anyone planning a special event.

their food is AWESOME! however, at our outdoor wedding we chose to do a beer/wine only beverage service and they ran out of beer at the reception 2 hours before the end of the night. make sure you have them stock up if you book them!

Eddie and his crew were fantastic!!! From the first day we met with Eddie he had great input and and made the wedding about what WE wanted. The best part- the food is AMAZING! I stop into the cafe at least once a week!! Thank you to all of the Lola's Staff!!

Lola's is fantastic. Eddie and his team are amazing. They did such a wonderful job with our ceremony. We will be using them from now on for all of our catering events.

Lola's catered my event at the Bykenhulle House in Hopewell Junction, NY. They did a great job at the wedding and pre-wedding. I met with Eddie and a couple of his people a few months before the wedding to do tastings and I just knew we made a great choice because the food is not like your typical bland wedding food. Everything was delicious! And he was great because he not only catered the event, but also pretty much helped me plan the wedding as well. All our guests raved about the food we had at the wedding--from the hors doeuvres to our main course. We had the lemongrass chicken with couscous and sea bass with shiitake mushrooms. Amazing food! Martial, (yes I spelled it correctly ha!), our maitre d did a superior job organizing everything and catering to our needs. I highly recommend Lola's for any event. They won't disappoint!

Our experience with Lola's was outstanding. During the planning stage, Eddie gave many suggestions and recommendations that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. He was also very understanding and accommodating when we had ideas for changes or adjustments. We were very comfortable working with him. Lola's food was absolutely delicious-drawing many, many, many compliments from our guests-and presented in a most appealing manner. The selections for both the cocktail hour and dinner were numerous, original and varied. The difficulty was in narrowing down from the many choices offered. Lola has a staff that is pleasant, efficient, obliging, and courteous. The table service went above what was expected and also drew "raves" from family and friends. (A staff member was also provided to help us with the ceremony.) With Eddie'd experience and professionalism the wedding went smoothly and allowed us to "relax" and enjoy the celebration fully. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Lola's for any catering need.

Eddie Kowalski is the chef for Lola's cafe. He is a confident, and friendly CIA grad. He is skilled in his craft which means that you can relax. While in the planning stages, I always felt calmer after talking to Chef Eddie. My fiance and I are foodies, and we appreciated Eddie's love of food. He would come up with creative ideas within our tastes and our budget. On the day of the wedding, the food was amazing. His staff was completely professional, and every transition was smooth. His Maitre D, Robin, was very helpful and pampering to me and my fiance. She brought us food and checked in many times during the wedding day to see if we needed anything. Lola's was one of the easiest decision to make regarding our wedding vendors. We had checked out numerous caterer's and when we met with Eddie, we knew he was a perfect fit for us. Everything from his pricing, his personality, his ideas and dedication were exactly what we were looking for in a caterer. Eddie was always there to answer our questions as the process went on. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lola's, Eddie his staff and his food. He took the time to listen to what my fiance and I wanted and he absolutely delivered. Eddie is truly a master in the kitchen. The quality, presentation, and taste of his cooking are superb. I tend to be a very particular eater and Eddie did not have one problem catering to my needs. We also had several guests at our reception that had severe food allergies and Eddie was extremely accommodating. My guests are still talking about the food at my wedding and how exceptional it was.
