A Dance 2 Remember

Sarah is AWESOME!! She worked with us last minute and gave us a foundation to feel comfortable doing our first dance. We walked out from our first session with her with a choreographed dance that never felt overly contrived or choreographed. Although, I know if that's what we wanted, Sarah, would do that no problem. I highly recommend her for any of your dancing needs.

Sarah was awesome! She was warm, friendly, and willing to personalize our first dance. She was very patient and went over steps till we felt comfortable. We were even torn between 2 songs and she helped us select the one that fit "us" best. Very prompt in answering any questions and flexible in appointments. Sarah is the best! She was wonderful in helping us pull together a special first dance for our wedding. My husband and I didn’t exactly know what we wanted to do as a first dance and right away Sarah pulled together thoughts and ideas. Sarah was always very responsive and flexible with her schedule. She made herself available for the days we were able to practice. Sarah is a great dance instructor who is extremely talented and knows what she is doing. Within seconds she would know what our next move would be. She explains herself very well and makes dancing very easy for anyone. Sarah is very dedicated to her job and has a lot of fun while teaching. She is a very friendly person and she always made sure my husband and I were comfortable with the moves she taught us. Our first dance came out very cute! I have to say that every single one of our family members and friends came up to us after the dance and asked how we learned to do what we did. They were very impressed and extremely amazed to find out that we only had three dance lessons. We have to thank Sarah for all of her hard work and dedication. I can't say enough about Sarah's responsiveness and schedule flexibility. I contacted her for a dance lesson with my husband only days before we were leaving for our wedding and she rearranged her schedule to fit us in. She also made herself available for a final, last minute lesson the day before we left. She understood and respected our main goal was to get comfortable dancing in front of people and to avoid looking like we were at the prom. We weren't interested in a complicated choreographed dance; and although she is clearly capable of a more complex dance routine, she stayed focused on the basics but still ensured we left with a simple routine that covered the length of our song selection.Given I had waited so late to get the dance lessons, I almost didn't bother since I wondered what good could really come out of 1 or 2 one hour sessions with Sarah (especially since we had never met before our 1st lesson), but both my husband and I are very glad we did because it made a huge difference in our enjoyment of the reception. Our dance was the 1st reception "event" and if we didn't feel good about how it went, it could have set a bad tone for us for the remainder of the reception and we didn't want that to happen. Our 1st dance went great and we received tons of compliments... most people thought we had been taking lessons for weeks, if not longer, and were shocked to hear we only had 2 lessons (literally days before we "performed") and we looked completely polished. Sarah is a fantastic dance instructor. In addition to being able to describe and show such an impressive variety of dance moves, she has an energetic and friendly personality that makes you immediately comfortable and encouraged to perform well.Sarah is the most prompt and professional vendor we've ever worked with regarding communication. I would highly recommend a Dance 2 Remember. From the very beginning, Sarah was helpful in sorting out our ideas and working with us to create something that fit our vision but would also work. She was creative and came up with great ideas accommodating both our romantic and fun sides. She made us feel completely comfortable from the get-go - and I'm often shy at first so this was very important (although my now-husband is definitely not). The first dance we did (a combo of 3 songs) was a HUGE hit at the wedding. As we went around to tables and everyone said their congratulations and talked about the wedding, I can't even count the number of people who told me that their absolute favorite part had been the first dance. Sarah was always professional and easy to get a hold of. As we approached the wedding day and needed to fit in more lessons, she was always flexible and accommodating. So glad we decided to do this and that I found A Dance 2 Remember.

Everything was great. It was so easy to schedule. Our instructor was extremely flexible and worked with whatever our schedule was. She even responded to my emails from vacation! That was impressive.

My husband and I were extremely apprehensive about taking dance lessons since neither of us are good dancers. Sarah was incredible from the very first conversation we had over the phone. She not only made us feel extremely comfortable, but was beyond flexible. For example, we did not have to lock ourselves in to a certain amount of lessons. Nor did we have to work around her schedule...she worked around ours. Not to mention, Sarah was extremely patient and professional when teaching us the routine to our first song. I truly cannot say enough about how the dance lessons gave us both very fond memories and bonding time before the wedding, a fantastic dance routine, and an amazing first dance which we will always remember.

We went to Sarah just a few weeks before our wedding and she took all the stress out of the first dance! Sarah was amazing! I told her my fiancďż˝ was not thrilled with the idea of having a lesson, but she brought us in there and got him dancing right away and encouraged us the entire time. I thought we would walk away without really getting it but she gave us tips and ideas to help us get the steps. She had tons of ideas and really was excellent!I would love to do more lessons with her for fun, but I'm still trying to talk the hubby into doing it ;-)Another great thing about it is that the class was such a stress reliever, we were having fun instead of stressing about the wedding and moving. Sarah was AWESOME!!! She was prompt, went above and beyond, and so flexible with our crazy schedule! She delivered just what we wanted and are definitely going to recommend her to all of our friends getting married! Her choreography was awesome and she is very talented. She made us feel so comfortable and confident-- even my fiance had fun (he hates to dance!) I thought it was going to be like pulling teeth getting him there but Sarah was so easy going, fun, and made us laugh! The lesson flew by and by the end we gliding around the floor.
