Amante Strings

They were just amazingly talented! I am so grateful they were able to play at my wedding. I was so happy with their service and they were very reasonable compared to other string bands. The only reason why I gave a 4.5 for responsiveness is that when I sent the deposit and contract, I waited a while for their response and amended contract and I was starting to get nervous because the check was cashed and I have not heard from them. And before my wedding they didn't start playing until they received the full balance in cash, so my guests were there waiting without music for a little and I thought that was not professional so that's why there was a 4.5 there. But other than that I really feel like they did a terrific job and was professional with attire, personality and talent. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This group is very professional and flexible. They were very flexible with instrumentation and the music we chose (we weren't exactly "traditional" in our choices), their appearance was great and their playing was fantastic! I also heard them at another wedding where they played traditional music and they were just as awesome! And their pricing is very good! 5 stars all the way!!

We chose Amante Strings for our ceremony music at the recommenation of our reception venue. We were looking for string musicians who were professional, talented, and within our budget, and Amante Strings exceeded our expectations. The website is great, and introduced different options for music that we had never thought of. It listed various songs to walk down the aisle to, from "Here Comes the Bride", to "Entrance of the Queen of Sheeba" to Irish folk songs. A week before the wedding we emailed Michelle our music selections. The day of the wedding the musicians arrived on time (coming all the way from New York), delighted our guests by playing for them for about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, and did an amazing job with our selections. Their music was beautiful, and made the ceremony absolutely perfect.
